Keepers At Home

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Home of Prayer

When the kids were little we always had evening prayer before they went to bed. It didn't matter if we had company or not. In fact,  the company was always invited to join in if they wanted to.

Today I realized it has been a quite some time since we all got down on our knees together for our evening prayers. I miss that part of our routine so maybe our family can bring that back into our lives.

We do however, offer grace before each and every meal and snack. I am happy to hear my boys offer up a prayer so humble, yet confident when asked to say the blessing.  

I feel like we do have a home of prayer but I know we can do better.

Isn't this adorable! I'm finding way too many cute things to decorate my blog with. I found this at Christian Women Online. The picture is linked to their website so you can click it to visit the CWO site.

I love that quote and one of my favorite songs is Come My Yoke is Easy. I wonder if that is the title of the song. We sing it all the time in church so I know the words and I don't need to open the book to the page.  You know how it goes, out of sight out of mind.

I found another cool tool on the CWO site. It's the webring. I'm linked to it, see the sidebar. I doubt I'm in their list yet, but it shouldn't take too long. At least I wouldn't think so.

Is it this late? Oh my goodness! Whatever happened to early to bed, early to rise! I think I'll set a timer when I get online tomorrow.
